Registered AMHA Miniature Horses are a maximum height of
34" at 5 years of age. They come in all colours
and are used for a variety of activities such as
dressage driving, obstacle driving, hunter & jumper in
hand, obstacle in hand and halter. They are a
great size for kids to get used to handling horses and
for adults who feel more comfortable around a small
horse, or for those experienced riders who would like to
try something new. There are shows just for Miniature Horses
including the Saanich Fall Fair, Cowichan Fall Fair and
the Nanaimo Fall Fair. Those students who are
ready and wish to participate in these shows are welcome
to do so. |
