Equestrian sports can be enjoyed and practised by people of all ages
and experience levels. We start beginner riders on the longe
line, with the instructor
controlling the horses
movements. The student
gradually assumes control of the
horse as balance and knowledge
of basic controls are gained. To
ensure each rider receives
plenty of individual attention,
group lessons contain a maximum
of 4 riders.
Experienced riders who are new
to the school are given a
private evaluation lesson to see
what level of experience they
have attained. Our school
horses all work "on the bit" and
are well schooled in dressage.
They are also very honest and
competent over 2'6" hunter
courses and help build knowledge
and confidence. Students
are given the opportunity to
show at local hack, hunter and
dressage shows.
It is our intention to provide a positive
and supportive learning environment. Our
school horses are specially
selected for their high level of training and are
temperamentally suited to help new and experienced
riders learn the disciplines of basic horsemanship,
dressage, jumping and driving. The school horses receive
excellent care and are kept in optimum physical health.
