Our Summer Riding Camps
offer fun and instruction for every level of rider from
beginner to experienced hunter, hack and
dressage riders. Camps run from Monday
to Friday, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Our instructor,
Kathy Harrison, has over 30 years of experience teaching
all levels of riders. Our show quality school horses are well trained
and experienced in the ring and on the trails.
Here's a sample of how
parents feel about our camps:
"I wholeheartedly recommend a camp put on by the Kathy
Harrison School of Horsemanship at Shannick Farm. At the
Spring 2010 camp, my daughter received professional yet
friendly instruction on horseback each day. As well, she
received instruction on horse handling, lunging and
stable management which are equally important skills to
learn and something that she would not otherwise have
the opportunity to take part in. These lessons, along
with creative and fun games, made a huge difference in
her confidence around horses and made for a thoroughly
fun week!" Wendy
