Lease A School Horse or a Miniature Horse
To be eligible to lease a school horse, or a Miniature Horse, you must participate in riding, or driving, lessons a minimum of once a week and have reached a level of proficiency where you are able to safely and correctly tack up and ride, or drive, the horse at walk, trot and canter without the supervision of an instructor.  Junior riders must be supervised by a parent or guardian, unless other arrangements are approved by the instructor.  Potential lessees must demonstrate that they practise good horsemanship and horse handling skills.

Two types of leases are offered:

1. Riding Ring Only Lease - riders must ride or drive only in the indoor ring

2. Riding Ring & Trails Lease – riders may ride or drive in the indoor ring and on the trails.
   Junior riders must have a separate signed waiver for trail ride leases.

Riding Ring Only Leases are $100 + gst for four rides per month. Riding Ring & Trails Leases are $150 + gst for four rides per month. If you are able to ride during the week days in the morning or early afternoon, then almost any week day is available.  If the school horses are scheduled to go to a show on a Sunday, and it affects your lease ride, then the you will be reimbursed for the missed day.  Contact Kathy for more info regarding leasing.
