Meet Our School Horses


Sampsons Delilah (Lila)
Lila is a true black registered Paint mare.  She was foaled in May 1997 and stands 15.2 hands.  Lila has a very successful career in the Hack Division.  She is calm and forward over fences and has a lovely hunter style.  Lila is trustworthy on the trails and has a strong desire to please her rider.

Lunar Eclipse (Luna)
Luna is a super little mare. She is coal black, stands 14.3 hands and was foaled in 1999. She shows exceptional style over fences and has a very willing and co-operative attitude.  Luna enjoys trail riding and is quiet and well behaved.  Luna is very friendly and people oriented and loves to have her back massaged.

Tanner
Tanner is a good natured, 15.2 hand bay QH/TB gelding.  He was foaled in 1996.  Tanner is quiet and co-operative over fences and good on the trails.  He is now showing some potential for basic level dressage. Straightforward and uncomplicated to ride, he is a super horse to learn from.


Taffy
Taffy was foaled in 2003 and is a 14.1 hand, palomino,  QH cross mare. Taffy really likes attention and is very people friendly.  Very cute over fences and willing to do whatever is asked of her.  Great on trails and in traffic. Confirmed in her schooling to Training Level dressage and schooling First Level.


Heritage (Heri)
Heri is a 15.3 hand Appaloosa gelding.  He has a co-operative and quiet nature, yet is forward moving and responsive.  He's easy to get on the bit and performs well over fences to 3'.  Heri loves the trails and is well behaved and calm in traffic.


Hallmarks Cascarones de Fernandez (Holly)
Holly was foaled March 14, 2001 and is a  34" Miniature Horse leopard appaloosa mare.  She has won Championships and Reserves in Country Pleasure Driving and was the 2004 Central Regionals Grand & Reserve Champion in Country Pleasure Driving.  She is level headed and fun to drive in obstacles and pleasure driving in the ring and on the trails.

Bombillas Good Fella (Fella)
As his name implies Fella is an all around good guy. He won 1st place in Obstacle Driving and 2nd in Barrels in the 2007 Saanich Fall Fair and is quiet and trustworthy in the ring.  He gets more spirited on the trails, but is not spooky and is safe in traffic. He was foaled in 1991, stands 33" in height and is bay roan in colour. Shown here in his winter woolies!
